With the original CapScribe, video had to be local to the computer you were working on. This revision allows a variety of video formats to be leveraged off distant online locations! This partially comes about by integrating a project called Rosetta Stone we had long ago undertaken with Antonio (our Accessible Web Development and Media Specialist).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-large-font-size\"><strong>Other features we have incorporated include:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-large-font-size\">\u2022Export for <a href=\"https:\/\/ableplayer.github.io\/ableplayer\">Able Player<\/a>, the fully accessible cross-browser media player <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-large-font-size\">\u2022Font styles and location<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-large-font-size\">\u2022No discernable lag with very large video file sizes<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-large-font-size\">With a foundation built \u2013 and a gauntlet of\ntechnical trials and tribulations to run through \u2013 phase 2 as the weather\ncooled down demonstrated the basic workings of a video description editor. One\nof our primary aims is to offer an intuitive and even enjoyable media editing\nenvironment for all. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-large-font-size\">As we look forward to phase 3\u2019s curriculum\npreparation and rollout in 2020, we will continue to test and revise the\ngraphic user interface, accessibility, workflow and interoperability aspects of\nCapScribe 2.0.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<div class=\"entry-summary\">\nSummer activities found a more solid environment for captioning in CapScribe 2.0.
